When your girls hit you up and tell you there’s a Sex And The City inspired dinner taking place and you’re cordially invited, how can you say no? I’ve had a pretty hectic week work wise and just preparing for the new year. So of course I jumped at the opportunity to spend the weekend away from home just reveling in fun. Life has really just been hectic in general. My main focus has been to be sure I finish the year off strong. I have always been the type of person who just works and works and eventually end up neglecting my social life. It’s crazy that I have now learned to balance my work and play. Lets face it, there’s nothing quite like a night out on the town with amazing women, great outfits, laughter and fun. Sometimes it pays to forget about work and all that goes along with it. It’s actually really worth it to get out and let your hair down.
If you would have told me at the start of this year that I’d wear a smile this wide and this long and it would be genuine I would have questioned your sanity. 2014 was year of many trials, test and tears. The fact that I made it out was a testament that I can survive pretty much anything. Spending time with like minded women discussing future goals, investment properties, travel plans and quarterly gatherings made me cherish life just a tad bit more. All of the money in the world can’t amount to the feeling of peace within. This weekend as the cosmo’s flowed and we dined, I was reminded just how peaceful life can be when you let go all of the negative and make room for all of the good. Enjoy the pictures from our amazing Sex and The City dinner and all the rest of the weekend shenanigans to follow. 🙂 xoxo!
