Whoisamberjanae Holdiay Wish List

I read a quote this morning that said: “I think as you grow older your Christmas list gets shorter, because the things you want can’t be bought.” I smiled reading that quote because it’s the absolute truth. I couldn’t think of anything this year material wise that I requested from anyone. Believe it or not, I haven’t thought twice of going shopping for myself. (Well maybe a little.) I even decided that I would be giving gifts that were more meaningful this year and less about value. The older I get the less I want things that are replaceable. This year was really the first of many where I have been fine without receiving anything. What I need and want I kind of already have. I am literally in that “I am just happy to be alive and smiling phase in my life.” I am not questioning as to why I feel the way that I feel, because it is an honor and a blessing. The things that I desire this year are more of needs rather than wants. All of what’s on my wish list are things that can’t be bought. It’s all about wanting the things that are hard to come by. It’s all about cherishing life and life’s blessings. It’s about being eager for gratitude. I want to learn to appreciate the simple things just a tad bit more. I want to learn to be grateful for all of what I once took for granted. What’s on your Christmas wish list this year? I’ve created mine. I challenge you all to write down a list of 10 things that you need in your life that isn’t for sale. What do you desire most? What do you need more of that you’re currently lacking? What areas of your life do you wish to see an abundance of growth in? Think about 10 things that may seem small, but are in fact a really huge deal. Write them down and re-read them aloud to yourself. Read them until you understand what your heart is craving and until the universe receives your message. For most of us it is not merely enough to have all of the things that we do not need. We constantly crave more of the things that can be replaced at any given time. I find solace in the things that can’t be bought. The things that are worth more than silver and gold and that never go out of style. Checkout my wish list below.
